It is very bad science to look for definitive evidence, since definitive evidence is impossible – as Popper among others strongly advocates, all scientific truths are provisional - and it’s amusing to see many scientists seeking certitudes like men of faith. Scientist ultimately should be heir of Socrates and of his awareness of constitutive ignorance.
