Psicosi e successio

 Forse non tutti sanno che Winston Churchill era psicotico :Soffriva di gravi ciris depressive in cui doveva isolarsi completamente. Eppure ha vinto la seconda guerra mondiale. Anzi, ha vinto la seconda guerra mondiale proprio perché psicotico.

In retrospettiva non ce ne rendiamo più conto, ma nel 1939 tutti pensavano che Hitler fosse invicinbile. Era un regime autoritario, quindi con mano libera, e la Germania aveva una potenza economica e militare infinita. Non a caso Stalin cercò di accordarsi con Hitler, proprio perché era sicuro che avrebbe vinto. Solo un pazzo poteva pensare di vincere Hitler, e quel pazzo fu Churchill, e la sua follia infine si rivelà saggia.

Come è noto, dio agisce per vie oscure e misteriose.

Uova di Pasqua e follia

 Molti ritengono che Putin sia pazzo e forse vero. Ma anche i nostri supermercati che vendono le uova di Pasqua un mese prima di Pasqua non è che siano tanto in sé.

Battiato, danze sacrei di Gourdjeff, Julius Evola.e dialettica della destra italiana

Questo articolo è piuttosto carino, non tanto perché spieghi il significato delle danze di Gourdjeff quanto epr la frase finale: "anche alla faccia di coloro che lo accusano da sempre di essere soltanto uno pseudo-avanguardista per interesse, snob, antipatico e spocchiosamente elitario o addirittura un finto intellettuale “che cita Guenon e dimentica Evola solo perché il primo s'è convertito all'Islam”. 
Due consdierazioni:
Primo. Non si capisce come faccia ad avere tanta presa il frusto ritornello, ripreso anche dall'astuto Renzi, tipico dei berlsuconian-fascisti, che uno è spocchioso (o che guadagna tanto) quando qualcuno non la pensa come loro. Che poi è esattamente l'argomento dell'armata della santa fede "i giacobini sono ricchi che vogliono rubarvi tutto (tutto non si sa cosa, visto che i contadini a cui si rivolgevano non avevano assolutamente nulla) siamo noi preti a aristocratici che stiamo dalla parte vostra". E non mi è mai stato chiaro perché un argomento ai limiti del delirio  (delirare significa allontanarsi dalla realtà) potesse avere tanta presa.
Secondo. Uno dei tanti aspetti importanti del lavoro di Battiato è quello di togliere la "tradizione" alla destra (e non dimentichiamo che Guénon non era certo di sinistra). Non è il solo (Steiner, Castaneda), ma mentre Steiner (per esempio) fa solo una ricerca spirituale, Battiato (che è politicissimo) trasforma la sapienza in strumento di critica (va detto che lo fanno anche alcuni anarchici).

Che poi detto tra noi, Julius Evola, a questi /che trollano)  li avrebbe considerati dei piccolo borghesi (quali sono).

Political use of madness

Churchill, Bismarck and Cossiga all three were schizophrenic, and yet excellent politicans. But what I would like to point here is that their madness was not incidental in their career, but a fundamental tip to their success. At the beginning of World War II all reasonable people thought that Hitler and Germany were invincible, due to their extraordinary economic and military strenght. Only a mad could believe he Germany coul be beaten, and Britain resorted to a mad (Churchill) to win Hitler. Moreover, Hitler was obviously crazy, and in some way the history of World War II is the battle between two mads. Mads understand each other, whereas they are quite unpredictable to the sensed one.

Cossiga is a simialr story. Nobody dared to use the iron fist against the social movements and the armed struggle in the late '70 - in a context of Cold War and with a strong Communist Party. And what a sensible person would not dare to do, was done by a clever crazy.

A slightly different case is that of Margareth Thatcher. Mitterand said she had the eyes of Caligula: only an anaffective woman would have the gut to take the milk off from poor children in school, and the necessary character was found in Mrs Thatcher.

TV nazi parades

The nightmare of nazism is explained why the personality of Hitler: he was pure evil, he was crazy. He was certainly so, but we should ask how was it possible that an entire highly civilized country (and much Europe indeed) could have been fascinated by an evil mad. reference is usually given to Prussian authoritarism - after the war Prussia was even destroyed, divided between Germany, Poland and Russia and has disappeared from history and from the geographical map. This explanation is largely true, nut it doens't accoutn the presence bunches of nazis in more liberal countries such as USA.
In my opinion we should address to television. Television of cours did not exist at the time, but when I look the terrible nazi parades I am struck by their similarity to a TV show. Hitler at the center of the scene, in central perspective (on television you ALWAYS have central perspective, you never have side view like in movies), with an immense applauding crowd. And what was the essence of the show that was represented? Hitler saying "you all are shit, you all are nothing, I only exist" (a typical schizophrenic delirium). And the crowd answering "you are ful right, I am nothing, beat me harder, I like it".
The School of Frankfurt described well the process, but they didn't point out fully to its sadomasochistic nature. Moreover, Adorno and Fromm didn't realize that television is always based on this desire for domination and self-destruction by the victim. Showmen play again and again the same representation of Hitler, with the same choreography, with the same subtle insanity, with the same sadism.

Rossini

Quello che mi piace di più di Rossini è che dalla musica si sente benissimoche era matto – come diceva Baricco una volta. Non è solo il ritmo esagitato, sono anche gli intervalli e l’armonia stralunata.
Poi, una mattina, mi sono messo per qualche minuto ad ascoltare un pettirosso che cantava sotto casa mia; gli stessi effetti di Rossini! Che i pettirossi siano matti? O è forse una caratteristica di tutto i dinosauri, di cui i pettirossi sono diretti discendenti? Su quest’ultimo punto non so, perché altri uccellini hanno un canto molto più sano, come l’usignolo o il merlo.
