Christianism and politics

In a previous post I suggested that some ideas of Machiavelli's are in essence christina. Reversing the argument, I dare say that if you take the New Textament not as religious book but as a book about politics it becomes a marvellous reading. From a political point of viwe, the aim of early christinas was the destruction of the Roman Empire - and they fylly succeeded.
