Psichology

Today we are all obssessed with our mind. But it seems strange to me that psichology as a science and a philosophy us very recent stuff - actyallu it dates to the end of 19th century. Today we rthink to the discovery of unconscious by Freud. but the attempts to understand the mind scientifically  (and Freud believed to be a scientist,  not a philosopher) all begun in the late 19th century, probably as a aconsequence of the creation of large mental hospitals. But also in philosophy the study of the mind is very recent: Nietsche thought that nobody before him had addressed the problem of the psyche and in fact the ancient philosophy and religion did not address the mind, but the soul.
