it is often said that history is written by rulers. This idea was stated in a slighlty different and more general way by Plato, who said that the legislator is the person who gives the names. If this is true, and if we equate giving names with writing history and being legislator, all of us are the legislator, and in particular children, since words come  from use, new one area unceasingly created and this in particular by childrem.
