Philosophers have only variously interpreted the world

I read on wikipedia the famous 11th thesis on Feurbach translated as "The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it", but in german it reads as Die Philosophen haben die Welt nur verschieden interpretiert; es kommt aber darauf an, sie zu verändern.which could better be translated as "Philosopher have variously only interpreted the wordl; now their task is to change it".

This thesis has two meaning (since it is a dialectic synthesis): politics need philosophers (as already stated by Plato) but also that philosophy can be greatly benefit form politics.
